Each member of SkillMeasure's team is personally committed to working in the best interest of the client and providing value that consistently exceeds client expectations.

Harry V. Dunklin, Principal

In 2001 Harry Dunklin launched the first in a series of assessment-based diagnostic engagements designed to provide executive leaders of four U.S. and European based multi-national corporations with unparalleled information about their sales and service organizations. He founded SkillMeasure in 2002 with a singled defining belief - that greatness already exists within most organizations. Our mission is to help companies rediscover it.

Prior to founding SkillMeasure, he served from 1997 to 2001 as an executive with Provant, Inc., one of the largest training companies in the United States. He held positions in Mergers and Acquisitions, and served as Corporate Vice President of Operations and as President of the American Media operating division.

From 1990 to 1997 Dunklin was an independent consultant providing process design and productivity enhancement leadership to clients like AT&T, Times Mirror, and Johnson & Johnson.

Dunklin's background also includes experience as a top producing sales executive with Xerox corporation.

Dunklin received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of South Florida .

G. Tom McKenzie, Principal

Tom McKenzie joined SkillMeasure as a partner because his background as an experienced Sales Executive and Leader was perfectly aligned with SkillMeasure's mission to rediscover the sales and service greatness in its clients!

Prior to joining SkillMeasure, from 1998 - 2002, McKenzie served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Provant, Inc. one of the largest training companies in the United States. McKenzie implemented numerous key strategic sales programs for Provant ranging from Strategic Account Management to Sales Force Automation.

From 1991 to 1998 McKenzie was President and Partner in Behavioral Technology, Inc.; a provider of competency based Selection Interviewing consulting and Training. McKenzie's clients included a who's who of the fortune 250 such as FedEx, EDS, HP, and Intel, and many others.

McKenzie's background also includes experience as a top producing sales executive with FedEx Corporation.

McKenzie received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Memphis State University.

Kathleen Clancy Jefferson, Executive Consultant

Kathleen Clancy Jefferson brings over 25 years of progressive experience in global performance improvement to Skillmeasure. Her career focus has centered upon strategically aligning people and their performance against key business challenges.

Kathleen worked 19 years in the corporate sector with 11 in senior management and executive roles. Her experience includes 7 years in Executive Enterprise Selling and Sales Management, and she has consulted to executives across the Fortune 500 such as Chase, Citibank/Citigroup, Fleet Boston, Fidelity Investments, Lennox Service Experts, Fannie Mae, First USA, many retail sales organizations, among others.

Some of her key accomplishments include: developing and implementing global strategies and initiatives in Leadership and Management development; facilitating enterprise-wide business performance assessments; directing knowledge engineering and process re-engineering initiatives; managing the design and development of enterprise-wide learning and knowledge management architectures; implementing facilitator-led as well as e-learning interventions and distance learning programs; directing total quality and customer satisfaction initiatives; managing new business ventures and start-ups; and implementing change and risk management programs.

Her client experience spans North America Europe and Latin America.

Deborah Morris , Executive Consultant

As part of the SkillMeasure team, Deborah focuses on preparing organizations for what's next through strengths-based approaches to competency modeling, training needs assessments, performance management, career development, employee surveys and 360-degree feedback programs. She helps leaders leverage their greatest resources - people, knowledge and capability - by creating positive work environments that unleash better performance from individuals while driving improvement in key business metrics.

Prior to launching a consulting practice, she served from 1985 to 2001 as an organization development consultant and Human Resources manager for Nortel Networks, a global telecommunications equipment manufacturer. She led large-scale change and organization renewal projects for individual business units as well as corporate-wide competency-based human resource programs during her tenure as a corporate organization development director.

Morris' background includes experience with United Press International, Hyatt Hotels, a wine wholesaler and the Area Health Education Center at University of California-San Francisco. She is affiliated with Appreciative Inquiry Consulting, LLC, and serves as communications director for the Positive Change Corps, a non-profit organization supporting culture change in school systems.

Deborah earned a Master of Science degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University, a bachelor's degree in Public Policy from Duke University, and has extensive professional development experience across a range of organization development disciplines.
